Picture for the gallery
The one picture that i think stands out them most is the contrast between country and city.
Pictures for book
The pictures i like for the book are the city/country contrast, the contrast between my dad and my mom/step dad, and lastly the connection for all of them with the picture of me with the blue background. Although I am open to different opinions.

Las Preguntas..
1] what is the nature of your photographic study? These are pictures of my dads and moms life and how they are different but still connected through me after they have been separated for over 10 years.
2] what was your initial source of interest in this line of inquiry?Well I live two separate lives and I thought it was interesting to show how they are different.
3] what is the point/purpose?To show the differences in my lives
4] were there any specific people or circumstances from which you found inspiration or guidance?Basicly I had to study my parents more and what they did differently... not until this project did I realize just how different my lives are.
5] how did the visiting artist guide your project? how did it change or evolve from beginning to end? Cathy was amazing! This project would have been much more difficult without her guidance and reassurance of what I was doing. She really kept me going and kept me excited about what I was working on. At the beginning I was just showing my life then I added in how my parents are different and how they are connected to each other no matter what not just because of me but also the weird family history thats shared.
6] what have you learned? how has your opinion/belief/outlook changed?I now feel more comfortable taking pictures of people and getting closer then usual. It still needs some work but I have definatly willing to go futher to get the pictures I need to show my point.
7] what happens next?I continue to photograph my two separate lives, maybe through my life with my friends in there too and in the end I will have a lot of pictures describing my life so its easier to understand.
